Adult Mental Health First Aid

Adult Mental Health First Aid (England) 2- day course

The course helps learners break the stigma of mental ill health, identify the signs of mental ill health, develop skills to approach someone, provide support and signpost to appropriate support. It also helps us think about our own mental health and ways we can protect it.
This is an internationally recognised qualification and is valid for 3 years.  At the end of 3 years there is a half day refresher course which extends the qualifications for a further 3 years.
Although it is a serious subject, we try to keep the training relaxed and informal and always make our learners feel respected, listened to, welcome and relaxed.
